watch out, cupid!
my recent love pursuit turned out to be another little disaster. over the past months i fell for an instructor who is a couple years older than me, who by no means looked taken. what i saw in him was a young, fun and energetic spirit filled with humor and gentilness.
chance happened that i would meet up with him for an appointment. and i had the time to plan out a small plot just to show my eagerness to be friends with him. i set out to invite him to lunch, yet not until the day before i found out that he was married and our meeting place was his wife's office.
it would have been such embarrassment on my part and unforgivable of me to even display the slightest hint of interest in him in front of her or in her office. i can't but to think that cupid is having fun playing me for having done this to me, twice in a row, to allow me to fall for some single-looking marriend men who don't wear their wedding band. i thought, it would have saved me some pain if i had known it earlier, but a friend had a better view, "but you had fun falling for him, didn't you?" yes i did, it was fun, and now i have ANOTHER funny sorry to tell...
cupid, you watch out now!
